A computer is an electronics device which is used in almost every field. It may be banking, education, industry, marketing and in IT sector mostly. Computer is a device in which input is given through input device like keybord, mouse etc to the CPU (Central Processing Unit). Cpu is the main part of computer system. All of the processing is done here. A Central Processing Unit consists of a ALU(Arthmetic Logical Unit) and CU (Control Unit). Work of ALU is to do only arthmetic and logical calculations. All of the calculation required during processing is done in ALU. CU is the part which controls all the processing of the computer. After the complition of processing CPU send the output singnal to ouput device like mouse, printer etc. In these ouput devices the appropriate output is displayed.

A computer system mainly consists of following parts:-

Motherboard- Main board of the system, all the components are attached to it.

Hard Disk Drive- Secorndary storage device used to store data.

Floppy Disk Drive- Used for read and write floppy disk.

CD-ROM:- Used to read CD.

SMPS:- Provide power to motherboard and its attached components.

RAM (Random Access Memory):- It is temparary storage memory.

ROM (Read Only Memory):- Strores the essential information of system. It is primary memory.

CPU :- It is the main area where all the processing is done.
